David Higginson, AIA, is an officer and Founder of the firm of Higginson Architects, Inc.
Graduating from the University of Redlands with a degree in Business and Management he has also attended Cal Poly Pomona College of Extended Architectural Studies and Liberty University graduating with a Masters in Theology. A licensed architect in the state of California since 1988, he also holds licenses in the states of Washington, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Arizona, and Hawaii. He is active with the California State Board of Architects in assisting with the Development of the Supplemental Exam and was recently awarded the 2020 Octavius Morgan Distinguished Service Award. He also is a Subject Matter Expert for the Enforcement Division of the CAB. He has participated in numerous emergency events for as a Volunteer member of the State of California Emergency Management Services (CAL EMA).
Mr. Higginson maintains a strong role in developing and maintaining client relations. He is very active in promoting the profession of Architecture and has given numerous presentations and career workshops for both high school and college level students.
Mr. Higginson is a member of the AIA and is past-president of the Inland Chapter. He is very active in the community as well as being active at Sandals Church Banning. His passions include photography, fly-fishing and classic cars.
