The City of Yucaipa Planning Commission unanimously approves!
On December 6, 2023, the City of Yucaipa Planning Commission unanimously approved the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for the proposed additions to Brewcaipa Brewing Company. HAI has been working on this project and it has undergone several updates and revisions. A challenging project, it was designed to be built in four phases, allowing Brewcaipa to strategically expand their operations over the next three years.
Located in the historic Uptown district of Yucaipa, adjacent to the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center (YPAC), the proposed additions offer a venue unlike anything in the Inland Empire.
The expansion will offer an enlarged tasting room, kitchen, distillery, office lease space, and outdoor dining / activity areas. The second-floor outdoor venue will offer a direct view to the performing arts center. YPAC and Brewcaipa will work closely with the city on special events and each will benefit from this expanded seating area.
Brewcaipa was envisioned 10 years ago by its current owners.
Scott Daniels and Kate Daniels opened Brewcaipa's doors in 2017. Operating during some extremely difficult times over the course of the Pandimic, they pushed through, continued to brew and currently offer over 20 different beers. Their rustic and open venue offers patrons an indoor/outdoor atmosphere with a welcoming and inviting pedestrian experience.
The city promotes numerous festivals, car shows, parades, and special events specifically designed to encourage community interaction. The City of Yucaipa continues to promote and encourage the development of the Uptown District and is excited for Brewcaipa’s proposed expansion..
